The Membership and Programs Committee (MPC) continues to learn about the types of programs and projects our members enjoy.

Our next meeting will focus on program year 2024-25.  As you may recall, at the January meeting several members suggested we focus on the Percy Grainger Home & Studio for our there.  Minutes are here. We'd love to hear your ideas about moving this idea forward.

As is our practice, we will also receive updates on several current membership projects: Dana Paul Perna’s oral histories of founding and longtime Percy Grainger Society members; and Jennifer Martin’s compilation of the location of Grainger documents throughout the world. We are exploring collaborations with other organizations. (See image for Jen's most  research tid-bit. Discussion on further  projects might include:

  • Seminars
  • Symposiums
  • Position Papers
  • Research Progress
  • Research Resources
  • Discussion Board
  • Member Spotlight
  • Partnerships with other Associations and Societies

Please register to join the discussion on Thursday April 4, 2024 at 4 pm Eastern Time via zoom. As always, the MPC Chair is happy to discuss any aspect of the Membership and Programs Committee before or after the  meeting. Email Bill Garlette (bill@percygrainger.org).
